Who's Behind My Hatha Yoga

My name is Nada Szemer and I am a certified teacher of Hatha Yoga by the Isha Foundation.

My desire is to teach the ancient science of Hatha Yoga in its purity. Below you will find information on the ancient and powerful practices that I will be teaching. I learned this science, not only theoretically, but as a living experience. I went to the sacred Velliangiri Mountains in Tamil Nadu, in Southern India, where Adiyogi, Shiva himself, is said to have spent time there thousands of years ago. I lived around that powerful energy for about 6 months and learned the practice at the Isha Yoga Center under the supervision of Sadhguru, a mystic and an accomplished yogi of the highest order.

What is Yoga/Hatha Yoga

Yoga is an ancient science, not a religion, that goes back to over 15,000 years. It was imparted to us by Shiva (the first yogi) who taught it to the seven disciples who then spread this knowledge to different parts of the world. It is a science that offers wellbeing on all levels of the body and mind And for those who want wellbeing on a spiritual level, yoga is also a ladder to the divine, a tool to being in union with the “one” energy (“God,” “the universe,” etc.).

“Hatha” Yoga means being adamant, exerting physical effort for the purpose of advancing our practices and achieving that wellbeing - healthfulness, happiness, balance and blissfulness.
